Hi, I love the version of All The Way Live they play at the end of the movie.

I looked up the song and it said it was by Lakeside, I downloaded it and it sounded nothing like the one in the movie.

Does anyone know if Lakeside does it in the movie? Is there a soundtrack for Eddie? I couldn't find it...

Did you ever find it? Coolio does a version.

LOL! Thanks, the moment I saw that line in the poem, it stuck out to me. Love Michael and it was precisely how I (and I'm sure many other) felt at the time. Great piece by Maya Angelou.

Rest in Peace Lee Thompson Young. An angel gone too soon.

I totally agree. I love MJ!

& LTY has definitely gone too soon. I was numb when I heard he died.

Yes! I remember when TFJJ first premiered and it was nice to see kids I could relate to on tv. Lee was also my first tv crush. I was no more good the moment I heard it because I've always followed his career so it almost felt like we grew up together, plus he's not too much older than me. Sigh.

Rest in Peace Nelson Mandela, Madiba we love you!

I agree. LTY was very attractive.

& in reference to your old signature: RIP Dr. Maya Angelou. She was such a goddess, an angel!

It's still so unreal to me. I was thinking the other day that he would have been perfect for one of the comic book roles upcoming for young black actors and realized then he would never be considered for one again. Have you seen Rizzoli and Isles? I haven't seen the show since he passed but last night I watched the episode where they have his character's funeral. I bawled. I was fine until I saw his baby picture.

In reference to Dr. Angelou: Sigh, yes! Why are they all leaving this earth? It's crazy that you called her an angel, considering my new sig. She is truly! I wanted to write more, but the limit...

Question, who is that in your avi? I can almost tell.

Rest in Peace Maya Angelou and Ruby Dee. Two gifted, beautiful angels who will be dearly missed.

I wanted to. And then he died and... I don't know if I could handle watching him. But, at a later time, I might give it a go because I heard it's really good.

I KNOW!!! Ruby Dee and Dr. Angelou. That's so sad and sudden. I was definitely shocked.

& that's a combined/edited pic of Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.

I started watching before Lee passed or I surely would have been in the same boat as you. He's the reason I started watching R&I. I think what allowed me to get through this episode was the fact that he wasn't in it. I'm not sure even now that I'll be able to continue. And forget TFJJ, it'll never be the same again. So I certainly don't blame you.

LOL! I could see it was a split pic of maybe Magic Johnson or Jordan (don't shoot me, b/c of the red jersey) but for the life of me I couldn't make out Byrd. I didn't think to zoom in until you told me who it is and even then I had a hard time making him out. Guess I had my mind set on two unrelated ball players. The full picture reminds me of Ray Allen for some reason, which is who I thought it was at first glance, before I detected the line down the middle.

After I catch up with "Graceland," "Friday Night Lights" and "Suits," I'm going to (deep breath) give R&I a shot. I know it'll be good, but I don't really want to get attached to a character that's gonna die. :-(

& I didn't see it before, but I, too, can see Ray Allen! lol.

Friday Night Lights
...the movie ...I remember waiting for it to be released and remarking on what a good job he'd done once I'd seen it.

Thank God, I was almost sure I was losing it for a sec!

I haven't seen the movie yet. I'm watching the TV series now. But I heard the movie was great, too.

Nope, you're not bonkers. It does look like Allen. I was like "woah!". lol.

I'm the opposite, save for a few episodes I haven't really seen the show. But I've heard good things about it. I think at the time it was just so different from the movie that I didn't continue. To think of it I watched some random episodes last year, so I'll probably wind up marathoning it one day in the near future.
