Won't you come home, Malik Brody

Does anyone know if he did his own singing? If not, who sang? I have checked in a few places and I can't find it. Thank you, KAS

According to the commentary, not only did he do his own singing, he actually wrote the song himself. Director Steve Wang asked him to write the song, and the idea was that they'd use a couple of lines for the movie, but he enjoyed it so much that at least the Special Edition had a lot more than that (similar to the 'brown bio engine' ad-lib earlier in the movie!).

In fact, Kadeem Hardison's reactions in the movie were genuine, as Mark Dacascos and Steve had kept him in the dark, and he had no idea what to expect.

Wow. If that really was him singing, he's a pretty good singer. Great scene too.

He also sings a great song in The Crow Stairway to Heaven.
