I think the movie would have been better if ....

For example they spent more time at the hotel and chatted with Murphy and they took her along with them.

As they only spent about 15 mins there, it wold have bene cool if they spend maybe 30 odd mins and the bad guys could have found them the next day and they could have got to know Murphy more as they stayed there for the weekend.

They def should have taken her but the director didn't do that, which was a shame.

Maybe Mark could have faught a few more guys at the garage and if the film was a bit more longer and lastly if they actually reached the place instead of just walking out of the dinner for the ending.

Your thoughts for the film please

They ran out of money toward the end of filming. Murphy was never to be utilised after the motel scenes as she would've detracted from the end action.

Wang wanted the end to be at ComTech with Toby fighting the other TurboDrive up a rocket gantry as it prepares to blast off. They ran out of money so instead we got a stupid rocket bar and some bikes.

... if Mark had employed a Chinese accent, even a slight one. It would've made the jokes a lot funnier. He could probably do it now, as his acting has improved, over the years, (though unfortunately, most of the movies haven't.) "Brotherhood of the Wolf" is his finest work **as an actor** (not necessarily martial artist), hands down. I'm very disappointed nothing ever came out of his effort, film-wise. He WAS Mani. Beautiful performance!

"Drive" was a total pleasant surprise - loads of fun. I don't see why Kadeem isn't getting better roles, he was funny as all get-out, and Mark puts the "art" in martial arts. I don't really watch martial arts movies, much, but I could watch Dacascos all day - he is amazingly fluid, fast, and clean in his movements. I'll have to track down a copy for my dvd collection!

I though and wish just the same. B. Murphy character was pretty wild. I wish she to have more screen time. Anyway i like this movie.

Dacascos and Kademm should do more buddy movies

reply

Seconded. They made a great team here.

I agree 100%.

Although I thought the film was brilliant, I thought it could of been just a tad better if Brittany Murphy had more scenes, or had tagged along with them til the end of the film.

She was amazing in this film.

God I wished I saw this movie in the cinema

reply

From what I've foundn't out it was direct-to-video. I thought the film was good enough to make it to Cinema screens.
