'Director's Cut'??

While I enjoyed this film mostly (showing the bigfoots ("BigFEET!") at the end was a huge mistake, as was the diapermen scene), I'm really confused by the inclusion on the DVD (in the special features section) of a "Director's Cut". It has three contiguous extra scenes, of a drug dealer coming to the house, the group deciding to hold a keg party to raise money, and then them getting the kegs, and no further differences. What is the point of this? Or, since the film didn't actually get theatrical distribution, and therefore exists only on DVD and VHS (well, probably somebody's got some film prints), why isn't the "Director's Cut" the version that you get when you choose "Play Movie"??

I don't figure anybody's got any answers. I just needed to rant a little about wasting an hour and a half watching essentially the same movie twice in a row.

Good movie overall, definitely worth watching, even if the acting makes you wince here and there.
