Didn't The Charleston Attack Prove the Point.

What was the point of them having to hit both Charleston and Norfolk? Wasn't the point to prove whether a terrorist in a diesel submarine could launch an attack on a U.S. target? In fact wouldn't pre-warning the Orlando captain that an "unknown submarine" was on its way defeat the point of the test? I guess logically, they had to be told something to prevent them attacking for real, but the point was for a surprise attack.

They did say a surprise attack but I guess an extension of the game was to see if a rogue diesel could wreak as much havoc as possible. As for pre-warning them I would expect that was to simulate intelligence reports in a real life scenario.

There's a moral to this story Del Boy but for the life of me I can't find it!

Well anyone can fall prey to a sneak attack, it's a whole other issue if they can do it again after you know what to look for.

I think it's like the classic hitting 2 mini marts in a small town.
