man yeah, i thought so too. real gripping delivery there. corbett is one of my faves anyway, ever since his sexnthecity days. but, yeah that speech explained a lot, made sense of how jessie ended up that way (which i had been wondering during the whole film)
i like little 'ring the bell' moments like that in a film. it kinda glues together the whole rest of the story, right there in that one little minute.
(and it shut the wife up, quick! lol)
