This film is awesome, I watched it with some friends at University on a marathon film session in this order Transformers the movie, First Blood, Daylight and the Dentist. All completely different films but all pretty cool in their own right, but the Dentist stood out as one of the best films i have ever see.

In my opinion it can be watched on two levels, one as a dodgy glitzy trashy movie about a mad dentist or two as a man's descent into insanity,fueled by a hatred of decay, leading to societal decay.

In my opinion excellent!!!

Hey, you need to see better movies and you will realize that your taste in movies is seriously below par.
This movie is utter garbage.
I watched it on reccomendation and I absolutely hated it.
This is bad bad bad.
If anyone else is reading this....don't watch this nonsense
The reviewer (see above) was right...this is straight to video crap

I enjoyed this movie. Pretty cliched with bad acting turn it into a b movie esque though. It does has disgusting gore scenes and an ok story though. Its also genuinly creepy I thought.

this is one of the worst films of all time!!!! why can't you see that. when watching it me and my friend had to create our own characters to try and inject some kind of entertainment into the film. i wasted some valuable time of my life watchin this film an i want it back

Creeped me out too, Disturbing indeed .That Cramp in that guys mouth (that was wicked lol)and his wifes mouth

This movie is strange, I can just imagine them filming it, the actors acting. ha!

I agree with the op - this film is an incredible study of one man's descent into complete insanity, added to the fact that he suffers from extreme OCD. His wife's infidelity started the descent and it was downhill from there. A brilliant movie which was very well directed.
