I would love to hook-up with someone like Carl's character. Of course he prefers to be with a flighty little thing like Jo. Someone who can't appreciate what a gem she has, totally takes him for granted.
Life is never fair, and perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not.
He's such a moron. But a d*rned amusing one. Love this charachter. Liev Shreiber is perfect in this character.

Jo was way to cool for him. I loved the annoyed glances she kept shooting at her sister while he was babbling on and on. Liev Schreiber was great as Carl though.

As annoying as he was, I actually felt sorry for him at the party when Campbell Scott's character was so obviously superior to poor Carl.
Overall, an enjoyable movie. Kept me interested in the characters all the way through. share
