Does anyone else think this was better than the original?

Darkman 3 was a good movie and I liked it as a sequel but it is NOT better than the original. I mean come on there is no Robert Durant in the 3rd movie which by default does not make it as good. Let me tell you though I like the third movie and own all 3 Darkman movies on DVD and trust me the Darkman 3 DVD was not easy to find.

I don't agree with this movie being better then the first Darkman, but I will admit it's a brilliant sequel. Apparently it was supposed to be made as the first of the sequels, but filming was pushed back when Larry Drake became available to reprise his role as Durant.


It makes me wonder how the series would have altered if this had been the second movie instead, but I guess we'll never know.

It wasn't bad, but I certainly do not agree.

I liked it better than the first one.

i dont think this was better than the first one, but its the best sequel in the series i think. Jeff Fahey's Peter Rooker is so much like Louis Strack Jr. from Darkman one, and he's awesome in this role. Larry Drake is missed, but then again he died in the first film.

PS this was intended to be the first sequel to the original Darkman so thats how i watch the series.
