The Orphan ripped this movie off.lol (spoiler)

as bad as this movie "daddy's girl" was... the movie "The Orphan" not only ripped most of the plot but it took a actual scene from this movie

the scene where her and her mother is in the hospital while grandma is in the hospital, and she ask to grab a soda but really goes in her grandmother's hospital room and turns off that machine takes away her air supply. even moved the button away where the grandmother can call for the nurse

the orphan did the same exact thing where the brother was in the hospital, she asks her grandmother for a soda and goes in the brother's hospital room, turns off the machine and takes away his air supply hahaha

even when she told somebody her mother was in heaven now in daddy's girl. didnt the orphan tell the brother and sister the bird was in heaven now

but yeah this movie sucked and the orphan was clearly better, but still

that's the first thing I thought of during the hospital scene... I agree that the orphan was HEAVILY influenced by this movie.

That's what I thought even by just reading the description on the TV guide. I have to say Orphan was WAY better, the child could actually act. In Daddy's Girl I wanted to punch the girl mainly because she was a bad actress...

I think this movie ripped off of The Bad Seed.

except for the surprising twist near the end of Orphan...

I dont really think the twist in orphan was a surprise...I knew she was really an adult just from looking at the trailer.

If the "Orphan" movie that you're talking about is this movie,
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1148204/
then you're wrong. The character Esther is supposed to be an adult, but she's supposed to look like a young girl (because of a damaged pituitary gland). This is supported by the fact that the actress who played Esther (Isabelle Fuhrman) was a little younger than age 12 at the time that the movie "Orphan" finished filming.

If I want your opinion, I'll GIVE it to you.
