Lifetime and Chiller had a baby and named it Daddy's Girl

If I wasn't for my love of all things cheesy in movies this would have been a complete waste of time. It actually could have been a masterpiece, but I don't know what happened, budget problems, not quite A list acting (it's really not terrible, just okay), script problems, lack of logic in some places. I dunno it missed the mark by a few degrees. The reasoning behind the movie I think is sound; kids who have been terrified as children do have problems growing up. Kids do get overly attached to other people as a result. Kids can have jealous rages. The way Jody kills is mostly realistic as well. I doubt it would have been that easy in two cases, but sure people can die that way.

So, like I said Lifetime and Chiller birthed this. Acting wise it was a Lifetime move, story wise Chiller of course. I am left wondering what would have happened with a tighter script and a A list director with the same cast or slight changes. Perhaps we would have had a genuinely scary movie that has people talking years later instead of a movie that people only come across by chance. I found this movie off of someone else's movie list at TrashEpics which was also a by chance find.
