and it runs three hours! The original running time of this movie is only 117 min.; they probably cut 5 or so minutes for content, so they have over a third of it's run time set for commercials?! This is why I hate it when they broadcast these movies. They usually butcher them, and then they throw in an hour of commercials during the movie.

shareAbsolutely! It just cracks me up whenever I see that on any channel. Amazes me how sometimes you'll see a movie with an original running time of like 110 minutes and it's running in a 2 hour time slot, and you just know they cut it to shreds to fit all the commercials.

1. Cut it to shreds.
2. Pad it with commercials.
I prefer the second.

You didn't understand him. He meant they are going to cut out parts of the movie to fit the normal amount of commercials. Not that there will be just 10 minutes of commercials.
