I had to leave.. what happens after they open the whale?

I loved the shock and awe of the onlookers!! and wondered what would possess that guy to pull the body out so quickly.

Not just why he pulled him out...what possessed him to cut the belly of the whale open in the first place????

I think that this scene symbolized him being "born again" in a sense. He is now washed free of his previous sins and transgressions by God, and starting a new happy life with Courtney Cox and his new baby. (cox is gorgeous in this movie i think!!) o well just my take on it, very creative to say the least, yet not very realistic! lol
