I would rather believe that it wasn't true.
And that Harry just wanted to hurt Seth
the way that he had just been hurt,
knowing that Rachel and Seth had been together.
Although, it could well have been possible.
Maybe that's why Seth was so much more easily hurt
instead of just laughing at the absurdity of it.
But you know, once Seth crossed that line and
took up with Rachel, he and his memories of Karen
were left vulnerable for these kinds of attacks.
I honestly believe that Harry was telling the truth. Although it makes sence that he would want to hurt seth after assuming that Seth had slept with Rachel, I don't think thats the case. He still questions Rachel when he gets home and doesn't believe it until she admitts it.
shareI believe Harry was telling the truth also, cause in the dreaming sequence. Karin just slips into the ocean, as though she intentionally killed herself. It would make sense that she in fact slept with Harry, and the guilt overcame her, when she realized how much Seth loved her. She just felt guilty and killed herself. Maybe that was why God was picking on Seth. He was trying to tell Seth not to idolize Karin, for she wasn't who Seth thought she was. It makes sense to me.
shareI was thinking something similar to that. IN turn her death was payment for her sin of adultry as opposes to GOD taking an innocent life just for the heck of it.
