Lessons Learned

I watched this 'movie' with the typical cynacism needed when watching nearly anything on Lifetime. It's pretty obvious that this screenplay was written by someone who once watched an afternoon special on ABC and had heard of 'Memoirs of a Geisha' - together, we get Co-ed Call Girl. WOW! The emmy award winning performances aside, the viewer is treated to a story that was slightly less predictable than the ultimate fate of the ship in Titanic. There are few bad films that can rival this one, possibly Laker Girl, and I love the fact the 'actors' feel it's necessary to emphasize thier lines to denote emotions.

Seriously, this is a great movie to watch whenever you're in need of a chuckle or a good drinking game - take a swig whenever they close-up for dramatic effect and/or whenever jojo tries to look demure (toad faced, bleach blond, hack).

On second thought, perhaps this is actually the watered down biography of how Tori was conceived - co-ed call girl and oversexed hollywood pimp ... hmmm ...

Too bad Memoirs of a Geisha wasn't written until 1997. :(

This move makes me LOL 4 rlz. Lifetime never disappoints.

History is merely a list of surprises. It can only prepare us to be surprised yet again.

I think Tori is prettier than she gets credit for. That said, I must say she actually 'makes' herself ugly! I've seen her in both movies and in photos where she calms down the makeup & the bleach, and wears lovely, simple clothes.
She looks really pretty.

Yet, she constantly puts makeup on with a butter knife! She looks clownish, and her clothing is outrageous even for Hollywood!
She looked gorgeous in "Mother, May I Sleep with Danger" and "Awake to Danger"! Why didn't she just KEEP that look?!

"Didn't he discover America?"
"Penfold, shush."
