Similar to Archangel? (spoiler)

Anyone else notice the similarities to the Robert Harris novel Archangel, later adapted into a BBC miniseries starring Daniel Craig?

The only real similarity is that both deal about a child fathered by Stalin. Other than that, they are very much different.
