I personally thought she was a great character and I always hated that she died near the end at the Clinic.

I liked her as well. That always seems to happen to me in horror movies. If I like a character, odds are they aren't going to make it. And the ones that I feel indifferent towards usually make it until the end.

She was the only smart one. When things got spooky she wanted to get the hell out of there. But in the end she stayed to watch the kid. Too bad for her.
