Underrated gem of a comedy...

What an underrated, well-made comedy. Happy Gilmore is considered a comedy classic (and rightfully so), while one such as this is swept under the radar.

I understand that it was an HBO original movie, and not a feature film played in theatres, which brings the number of viewers down (along with the fact that there is much cultural bias on IMDB). But still, it's a shame that such an awesome movie does not receive the recognition it deserves. Sinbad is great as always, as is the ensemble cast around him. Everyone chipped in to add something entertaining to this story. The twist at the end was classic. I'm glad HBO was able to put together this awesome film for Sinbad before he became "blacklisted" from Hollywood (or so it seems).

It was a very entertaining movie. I always liked Sinbad. The cast was great and the addition of Colburn, Hines, Reynolds, and Hudson gave the cast a lot of depth.

I always enjoy watching this movie. I've been wanting to watch it again, since it's been a few years since I've seen it. Sinbad is always funny, in my opinion!

Yep Sinbad has never missed with me, I've loved him in anything he's in since I was a kid.
