They breed young in Mississippi

Hackman was 11 when Dunaway was born. Ah well can't complain - she gave the best performance in the film. His was pretty strong too but the film is just poorly done.

I notice it has a couple of people from the cast of Dead Man Walking. Coincidence?

I live in Indiana; my mother-in-law was 14 when my wife was married, 13 when she got pregnant. It's not just Mississippi.

I think everyone got that! The OP was making a criticism in casting suggesting that Dunaway was too old to play Hackmans daughter and quite frankly I agree. While it was common for girls to marry young it's rarely the same with men. That Hackman Married age ten and fathered a daughter age eleven is very unlikely. It just wasn't believable in a realistic or dramatic sense. Guess you should know what you're talking about before you go calling people names.
