'I'm sorry but he has to die'

The was the realist line in the movie for me, being a mother and all. This movie allowed me to realize that I really don't know how I feel about capital punishment. As a "black" woman, a person who sees her own people wrongly conviceted more often than not, it is really hard to support it. But when I see monsters like the Gene Hackman character in the movie, in my heart I know the death penalty is needed. Or some sort of judicial way of ridding society of such evil...... Then again, who is to say what is evil right?????

Either way, he deserved to die.......

This struck me too. I can only speculate but I'd hate to think that the closing chapter to a loved ones horrific death would be another death, deserved or not.

Your's sincerely, General Joseph Liebgott

How come people like you never talk about blacks who are rightfully convicted?

You want to play the game, you'd better know the rules, love.

Because there's not much to talk about if the conviction is correct?
What a dumb question.

"Why won't you talk about this thing that went as it was supposed to!?"
