You're just sorry, period! You're obviously a chauvinist that thinks a woman should be subservient to the man. Her husband didn't consult her about decisions he made, he didn't respect her or appreciate her the way he should've. He even lamented to Nick that he wished he'd pursued his fishing business instead of choosing his wife. Don't feel alone though, because there's alot of bitter losers out there just like you that hate women because they didn't fall for you. Maria's character was the actual victim here because what she was feeling wasn't all about sex, she was in love with Nick but I don't think he actually loved her. This movie was flawed because Nick was an uneven character who's motives never seemed clear. And that son Danny... wow, what an obnoxious idiot he was. He did his best to ruin the movie.
