Was everyone else's DVD blank?
When these first came to DVD, I grabbed up the three-pack of the trilogy. Got it home and, out of the three DVDs, only CARNOSAUR 2 actually had a movie on the disc with the other two being blank. Since the store was selling the films individually, I was told to just bring in my defective copies of CARNOSAUR and CARNOSAUR 3 for replacement. Those didn't work, either. Several trips and exchanges later, I still only had a good copy of the second film. The store had so many returns because of the problem that they stopped stocking the films. A few years later, when CARNOSAUR and CARNOSAUR 2 got reissued on DVD as a double feature, it was the same story: The side of the disc with CARNOSAUR was blank and only CARNOSAUR 2 was on the DVD. Once more multiple exchanges found every DVD to be in the same shape, with only the second film appearing on each disc.
