Fantastic movie. But is the guy who comes down the stairs and tries to peer at whatever Toddy's seeing (during her song on the stairs) supposed to look like a modern high school (or maybe college) student?
Dunno if this was an incongruous reference to more modern high school/teenage musicals' romantic moments or if I'm seeing/thinking/talking a load of old toot?
I pretty much just think it's a pointless goof.

shareIsn't it because the movie was filmed during Trey's (and Matt's) time at college and that scene may well have been filmed on campus somewhere? I thought that's what it referred to.
