Pic of a young Tony Curtis in his cell. WTF?

Not sure what the tie in or symbolism is on this one. Tony Curtis was in a classic prison movie himself- The Defiant Ones. but the pic is not from that movie, he looks younger and the pic looks like a studio publicity/promotion type shot.

I think Marv has a rat in the movie also named Tony Curtis? What is his obsession with Tony? The fact that Tony is rumored to be gay himself? Both Marv and Tony are Jewish? Is he a movie buff?

If I remember correctly, Tony was something like Rock Hudson, never quite "came out of the closet" but there were always tons of rumors about the guy. Most likely he was bi. He is the father of Jamie Lee Curtis I believe. (Vivian Lee is her mother I think)

I think you are reading way too much into this. He is just a fan of Tony Curtis. Lots of people are.
