Hello Sequel to Brave Hart here

So, no one knows or cares about this?

Tell me, has any American seen this?

Not really a sequel. In such a case, every World War II movie would be a continuation of another.

Do you have a link where I may be able to catch this?

I want you to hold it between your knees!

I haven't seen it. I just read about it.

Few people have seen it, from what I see. I am not American, but my wife is a direct descendant of Robert the Bruce, and she was looking forward to watching this movie... We were both deeply disappointed by the very first scene of the movie.

Lord Douglas indeed carried his king's heart to a holy war... which was Alfonso the 11th fight against the moors in Spain... not Egypt! He carried his king's heart around his neck in a silver and enamel pendant... not in a wood box! Whose idea was it to make that scene a complete fiction?

He threw his king's heart into the enemy ranks after being ambushed and when the fight was already desperate and lost. This happened at the town of Teba, at the south of Spain.

That initial extreme inaccuracy and lame treatment of a scene that should have been EPIC, in capital letters... ruined the movie for me from the beginning.

Maybe only a few have seen it but I feel very sorry for them having endured this rubbish. Some nice costumes and picture-postcard shots of castles and hills can`t mask a confusing mess with poorly edited scenes.Acting is pretty bad throughout ,including a "bellowing Blessed", and the casting of Wolfman(Gladiator) in a prominent role is really quite bizarre. Ollie is actually very good although the horrible and intrusive soundtrack does it`s best to drown out his dialogue.

I thought The Bruce (1996) is not a bad attempt at filmaking, considering they did it with such a small budget. Some good acting from Brian Blessed and Oliver Reed. Sandy Welch was good as The Bruce and is one of the best actors to play him so far. I thought the soundtrack was good and very fitting for Scotland's hero king. Some good scenes in here such as Bruce's coronation and of course the battle of Bannockburn at the end of the movie.
