You know its funny-- when I first saw this flick I half expected that Mathis would do some sort of striptease when being chased by the helicopter in the canyon. She tells the Hale character that she'll provide a distraction while he lines up a shot with the pistol.

In a slightly earlier Hollywood era, that's exactly what would have happened.

OK young'uns, here's the deal: It's called an "Ike" jacket, designed in WW2, and in those days the beltline was near the navel. The bottom of an Ike jacket rides the beltline.
