Did Kelly Die ?

Did the character Kelly, played by ex-Raiders defensive lineman Howie Long, actually die in this film ? He jumped from a train, but did he die ?

Uh, yeah. The fall was around 200 feet. He even got a Wilhelm scream.

That wasn't the Wilhelm scream. The Wilhelm is a short and more high pitched scream. I forget what the Yeeeeeaaaaaaarrrrrrgggggghh scream is called.

It's the same scream that was used in the "Ahhh Real Monsters" theme and Woo reused it in Face/Off. And yes there is no way Kelly is alive.

He didn't exactly jump, he was more so thrown from the train. I'm pretty sure he died from the long drop.

that scream is called the "ironman scream".

was done in showdown in little tokyo as well.

Yes, thrown from the train and you hear a god-awful thump as his body hits the ground.🐭

Yeah, he fell from too high. Maybe if he had landed in deep water, perhaps he could have lived (though still doubtful because of the height)

But it’s implied by the sound that he fell on land, not water. So he is dead
