UK vs. US version

Apparently, "Breaking the Code" was recently rebroadcast as part of BBC4's Hidden Lives week, with a running time of 91 minutes and in widescreen no less!! Given that the US Masterpiece Theatre version runs 81 minutes (minus the theme song and Russell Baker's intro), does anyone know what edits were made?

Also, on a related note: I've recently learned that many of the WGBH/Mastepiece Theatre video/DVD releases here in the States ("My Family and Other Animals," being one example) have had scenes trimmed out, which makes me glad when a company like Acorn or Warner Bros./BBC puts out classic Masterpiece Theatre/Mystery! shows in their original aspect ratio (i.e., no letterboxing) and unedited British broadcsast forms.

Another example, "Foyle's War". Originals are about 94 minutes but PBS has to edit to less than 90 for intros and sponsor bits. Proabably losing 7-8 minutes on each. Love Acorn (even if the closed captions are often obviously done by someone not quite up to British vernacular.)

The full 91 minute version is available to watch freely on Youtube.
