Masculinity in Crisis!

I'm doing a close study of the social and political commentary offered by a body of British films between 1990 and 2002, and i'm looking at the idea of how masculinity is in crisis. I'm also referencing the films 'Billy Elliot' and 'The Full Monty'....what are your views on this topic?

I've seen "The Full Monty," but I haven't seen "Billy Elliott," so I can't comment on that one. I understand how TFM might relate to the issue of masculinity in crisis. I don't, however, see how this topic relates at all to "Brassed Off."
