Who are the people on the DVD cover?

I recently watched the movie on dvd, and I ordered it because I like Tara Fitzgerald's work. The dvd I bought has the cover featured in pictures 24 and 25 of the pictures available to view here relating to the movie. However, the woman on the cover is in no way, shape, or form, Tara Fitzgerald, and in fact she doesn't even appear in the film. Ewan McGregor doesn't look like that in the film either - it seems to be a picture lifted from some other movie. I can understand how the wrong picture might get posted in an unofficial place - like a Wiki or fan site -- but to release a dvd with the wrong cover? Did anyone else notice this? Anyone know where the picture came from?

its is ewan & tara - but the cover you're talking about it is the USA cover. The British one is different.

I think they shot that cover for the US market (ata later date) so they could rebrand brassed off as a British romcom... rather than the real point of the story of working class and pit closures and brassed bands!

Total bait and switch with the American DVD, but a movie well worth the watch.

I believe the poster is referring to the fact that the American video and then DVD cover, pushed the miner aspect to the side, with either little or no reference to the brass band or miners strike. So it made it appear that it was a romantic comedy rather than quite a political drama.
