Sure this movie was not even near as good as the original bloodsport with van damme. However I felt this movie was far better then bloodsport II, I hated bloodsport II, I felt this movie was actually pretty damn good. I have never seen IV nor do I plan on seeing it.
shareI agree, if you like movies like bloodsport, kickboxer etc. which has basically the same storyline, fighting, training montages etc. you will probably like bloodsport II and III, the training sequence in bloodsport III reminds me a bit too much of the training in kickboxer.. they are really copying van damme :D
but stay away from bloodsport 4: the kumite, that was AWFUL, lets just pretend it never was made...
Yes that's true they are really copying Jean Claude, it's only the first Bloodsport that's good all of the others suck too much!
shareWell I have the original BloodSport but have not seen Bloodsport 2 but when I saw bloodsport 3 (My Sensei is gonna kill me for this) I actually enjoyed it alittle bit better than bloodsport. I only like it because I know that JCVD has never appearred in a sequal (exept for Universal Soldier: The Return which didn't make much sense) so thats why I enjoyed it to see a familiar face in the movie.
I love cheesy movies, but this one was bad. The second one had some pretty good fights. This had nothing going for it. But I love a lot of awful stuff, so to each their own. If you liked it, good for you.
