This film was pretty annoying. Not only was it a boring story with little at stake, but Stanley Tucci's bad Italian accent was painful to watch. Neither him nor his brother were likeable characters. Ian Holm was annoying too. I felt bad for Minnie Driver who had to endure acting in this. Not involving, not funny, just amateurish.

I thought the same thing, too, after finally seeing this on TCMHD! Am I nuts, or pazzo, as the brothers would say?

I agree each scene takes to long to develop and become interesting. Finally the scene where Louis Prima is suppose to come and dine has energy. But you have to get to that scene first. Very disappointing for the level actors that are featured.
