childhood scenes

The childhood scene at the beginning of the movie was the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Who cares about his fat friend who doesn't understand the food groups? What does the fact that he hung out with a black kid have to do with anything, other then making us think "awww isn't that cute, he isn't racist, he's so accepting. Too bad racism has nothing to do with the plot of this movie!". Although, I did like the ending, when Tom Arnold sneaks into his house at night, and accidentaly kills his kid instead of him!

"The face of evil is ugly to look upon. And as the pleasures increase, the face becomes uglier."

Seriously, what was the point to your post?
It sounds like you didn't even bother to fully watch the movie.

I guess the concept of character development is lost on some people.
