I thought Moranis and Arnold had good chemistry, but it would have been superior if the movie was darker. It reminded me a little of the TV movie Next Door (1994) with James Woods but tamer. Arnold also reminded me a lot of Phil Hartman, which is always a plus! Both characters and there were some funny lines. There just wasn't enough drive

I agree with you! Good observations. This movie could’ve been a little edgier with a darker tone like Cliffard movie with Martin Short for example. I liked this movie anyway as it was, it still was surprisingly good.
