The kids were actually the villains

I watched this show as a kid and liked it but even then I knew the kids weren't all that good. I know people won't react well to this but it's true.

The kids wished to be heroes. As a result villains were brought into existance too. It's the kids own fault the villains are there. They think it's all fun and games but they unleashed actual evil and never show any kind of remorse about it. Everything bad that happens is the result of their own selfish desires. They didn't become heroes to do what is right as a real hero should. These kids pretty much wanted to live out the comic books and as a result innocent people were put at risk. I know this just a kid's show but even as a kid I realized the children on this show caused all the bad things to happen. They didn't fight an evil that was already there or wish to be heroes to stop an evil they knew existed. Instead they created the very evil they fought SO tthey could be heroes which isn't heroic at all.

that's true...it's not like they became heroes out of necessity...just for the sake of fighting bad guys...

Exactly.

Of course not. But instead of undoing it they let those villains continue to cause damage all through their city just so they could continue to feel 'righteous' and 'good' when simply wishing to not be heroes anymore would send away the villains too and ultimately save the day.

I understand where you are coming from, it makes sense, and is logical. However, it is a show, and with all things in life, there is good and there is bad...you can't have a hero without some sort of villain. they didn't intentionally cause the villains to be unleashed onto the city...plus if you think about it, it's really Flabber's fault, because he's the one who casted the spell to turn them into heros, the children said nothing about bringing villains out too...in turn Flabber created a loop hole within the wish to where the villains came through. Also, the children decided to fight, instead of just having the ability to turn into heros with no villains to destroy, the fought.

I do feel silly debating over what is, or was with a tv show, however it brings back good memories from being a child =D

All they'd have to do is undo the wish and all that weekly destruction and innocent lives in danger could be prevented.

Or the writers of the show coudl have contrived a better rason for the Villains to show up, liek a real alein invasion, and THEN have the Kids ask to be made Heroes... but, ah well...

That would have been a lot better.

Well when they made the wish it was only supposed to make them heroes. Flabber made the mistake of not closing the door to the comics. It was his fault it happened.

In fact he even tells the kids they have to keep being Beetleborgs to get them back in the comic.

They thought they were dreaming when they wished it.
When they had discovered what they had done they could have said that's not what we wished for and left they did not.

In a way they took responsibility for it
