why did Nukus create Borgslayer and then tell Trip and VAn to tell the Beetleborgs how to defeat Borgslayer?

Because the defeat of Borgslayer would send Vexor and his goons back to the comics leaving him with all the power.

why would Nukus do that? what was wrong with having Vexor and the Magnivores around?
