When Amy and comes back into the locker room, her friend says some red headed lady was looking for her. Who was she? Since it turns out it was her friends sister who was really after Amy all along, it couldn't have been her looking for her at the school since Amy's friend would have recognized her own sister. Was it Derek's wife maybe? They never did explain that.

I think they messed up b/c it was Dana's sister, but Dana was the one that told Amy "...some redhead was asking about you." Her sister has red hair, as well as the wife.
The things you own, end up owning you.
They didn't mess up, it was clearly his wife that came to school asking for Amy. One, Dana would recognize her own sister, and two, Dana's sister knew exactly who Amy was. The wife found out about the affair and wanted to see who she was for herself. When they first met face to face, the wife knew immediately who Amy was.
