How did this movie/television show EVER become popular? This is the ABSOLUTE stupidest thing that I've EVER seen, and I've attended public high school. While watching this show, it was as though I could FEEL my brain get stupider and stupider. I hate everything about this movie and I hope I never have to go through the torture of watching it ever, EVER again!

To quote Roger Ebert, "those who deplore Beavis and Butt-Head are confusing the messengers with the message."

shareIsn't it amazing how much you can read something into a show that isn't there? Beavis and Butthead was supposed to a stupid comedy about stupid people. Maybe the show changed after its revival? I'm unfamiliar with that version. Mike Judge went on to do a movie about the things you mentioned... It was called Idiocracy. It's worth noting that movie is more intelligently written. It's a much more clever story. Though whether it's funnier is arguable...
