Male leads are not attractive at all

The movie was ok but the main actors...

Please! One of the main selling points of this film is the realism. Not everyone has just stepped out of the pages of International Male.

Look, they had boy-next-door looks, thus, completely believable.
btw, I wouldn't have kicked either of them out of bed on a cold night!
As a previous poster said, they didn't have to be cover models from GQ!

reply

I thought they were quite nice looking, in a regular way. Glenn Berry (Jamie) especially. Those beautiful green eyes! And I loved his nose, too.

It's nice to see movies where the leads are just regular people. It makes the story more believable.

Maybe greenish-blue?

I'm with you I would have done either one in a heartbeat!

reply

Ta!
What made me gasp at the OP's opinion is that I am very choosy, but I stick with my choices of whom I would or not kick out of bed on a cold night, lol!
Actually am almost sure most would side with us.

I liked both the male leads. I don't think I would of loved it as much as I do if I didn't find the men attractive.

reply

Are you serious? I thought both of these boys were cute, in an ordinary sort of way.

If you love someone, set them free. If they come back, nobody else wanted them either.

reply

Ste was the cutest to me :)

reply

I actually thought they were cute and good-looking, especially Ste & Jamie being together (Scott Neal and Glen Berry). I'm american however I just find their British accents very adorable.

There's no such thing as a British accent...

English = United States (American Accent), United Kingdom (British Accent), etc.

You were saying?

reply

UK comprises N. Ireland, Wales, Scotland & England. All have distinctly different accents.

Firstly.. I said British (and you did too).
Secondly: English = England and not America. Over to you professor.

reply

Excuse me, but there are different types of accents all over the world in certain countries that speak English or utilize English as an official Language (i.e UK, USA, New Zealand, etc).

British English > British Accent.

Do not argue with me because everybody knows this.

ronfirv I apologize, I meant to say England, and I do realize there are different parts to the UK and how they speak.

You're commenting on something completely different. I said there was no such thing as a British accent. Then you waffle on about languages? Get real mate.

reply

In the United States, where I live,we call it a British accent. I can imagine in the UK, you guys call how we speak english an " American accent." I gave you several examples before so that you would know how it works since clearly you have been living under a rock. How much would you like to argue over it? Google it. Have a nice day.

No that's where you're wrong, we know perfectly well there's "Texan", "Boston-ish" accents etc etc accents. Maybe even more under each of those headings. So YOU get out from under your rock and stop assuming things about people you know nothing about.

They were attractive. They just weren't perfect bohunks like the stars of every other gay film.

They were realistic, normal people. They were supposed to be awkward teenage boys, and that added to the beautiful realism of the film.

Sorry there weren't enough beefcakes for you, beb.

Not today, Satan. Not today.

reply

The problem with a lot of gay films nowadays is they cast extremely good looking men in the lead roles. It's unrealistic. Not everyone who falls in love looks like a model. The fact that the two leads are average and “normal” looking makes the film more believable.

reply

Huh? I thought both of them were adorable in their own way. Ste would be more my type but Jamie was cute as well. We must not have been watching the same movie. I think their personalities as well made them even more attractive because they were both such sweet guys.
