Just watched the rape scene and...

I literally gagged a few times and then my teeth were chattering a bit. They still are a little. God....

I pride myself on being unshockable when it comes to disturbing movies. I watched this on Christmas Day last year, and still can't get over it. It definitely sticks with you. I still don't believe there should have been an actual twelve-year-old girl in that scene, though. Older body double, maybe? I don't think children should be exploited like that, no matter how necessary it is to the story, and no matter how much they think they can 'handle the material'.

I'm still working on my signature...

Jena Malone is fine nowadays. Look at people like Drew Barrymore and Macaulay Culkin; they did family films most of the time when they were kids and they were drug addicts and alcoholics at a young age. Anyway if this was toned down the movie wouldn't have been so powerful. The rape was graphic for a reason. Still, it scared the *beep* out of me. Really disturbing.

I like pigs. Dogs look up to you, cats down on you. Pigs treat you as equals.

Body doubles are used when an actress doesn't want to show nudity. You can tell it's a body double because they specifically don't show the actress' face, just the body of the body double. That simply wouldn't work here for several reasons: There was no nudity in the scene, in fact the focus was on her face during the rape scene. An older body double wouldn't have a body that was believably like the small, undeveloped body of Bone.

I've seen no indication that Malone was exploited or traumatized in any way during the filming of this movie. It was carefully choreographed and acted out by trained professionals. Malone is still a working actress to this day, and this movie was her big break. I believe she is grateful to have caught a break at such an early age and to have her continued success as an actress.

Oh Lawd...

What you interpret as child porn, and what someone else may interpret of child porn will most likely vary, just like what person a thinks of as art, person b may think of as pornography. It's not a black and white issue, no matter what the law says. You and I both know why most people look at those images...

Any ways, I want to see the video of your room!

Don't ask me why I came here. I clicked on Sophia's profile, saw the idiot calling you disgusting, then had to pipe in. The guy is such a pathological liar.

Kevin is disgusting? When has he ever fawned over little girls? When has he ever displayed an attraction for children or dolls? Has he ever posted links to little girls that portray them as sex objects? D'OH! That's you!

Who in earth chooses to watch such a depressing movie on Christmas Day? Gosh!

Wow, I've never seen so many 'Deleted by Admins' posts in my life!

"I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus."
"Didn't he discover America?"
"Penfold, shush."

I couldn't watch the whole sequence. I felt sick to my stomach.
