Women are more desperate for a loser guy than to protect their own kids.
Their own kids "aren't enough."

It's a good job that the mother in THIS story couldn't have any more kids.

I guess some women are so weak-willed and desperate they can't be without a man no matter what the cost to everyone around them... especially her kids.
And as much as it disgusts and horrifies me, I am sorry to say I have seen worse in my own family. My great-aunt Marie had an addict daughter who chose the man over the kids. The addict's oldest daughter moved to Cali when she was old enough, but the youngest daughter had to stay. The severity of the situation was not known until the younger girl was 15 or 16; everyone knew mom was an addict and stepdad was scum, but somehow that child managed to hide the full truth for God only knows how long. One night, she finally went to her grandmother (my aunt Marie and told her everything; the alcoholism and drug abuse was common knowledge, and the non-sexual physical abuse was no surprise, but at some point (we were never able to find out when) he started raping the girl, and from there he moved on to passing her around to his buddies. Her mother was aware of the situation but did nothing. Stopping it would have probably interfered with her drug supply.
As soon as the girl told her what was going on, Marie immediately called the older sister in Cali. Sis told Marie to take the girl to the airport in the morning and put her on the first flight out; a ticket would be waiting. She never got there. Stepdad came to Marie's house sometime that night and killed her and the girl.
With his victim and the only person even close to being a witness dead, he wasn't charged. It was a small town and everyone knew he did it, but that won't convict. The mother is still with him, knowing that he murdered her mother AND her daughter and before that had been raping her daughter for a unknown length of time. IMO she is just as guilty as him, and in some ways even more... she knew what he was doing and never made any attempt to stop it.

First off going back to him and being with him sexually. That shows how weak and sick she really is. How are you going to not only go back but let a man that touched your daughter and such touch you? It makes me sick thinking about it. The title of the thread describes the mother perfectly really.

I can't believe he is a free man, and the mother is STILL with him! Makes me sick on so many levels.
Just a little update while I am still fuming from it... The mother has 'found God' and left her husband (who was finally charged and convicted for two counts of first degree murder). Her daughter's birthday came round recently and she was posting all over Facebook about how much she missed her and was getting all kinds of sympathy from people who met her after her 'conversion'. It took every bit of self control I has not to ask her to tell us what happened to that child. Her family knows but her new church friends only know she was murdered, not who did it or the circumstances leading up to it.

As a mother(two boys), I have seen in my own family too the desperate for a man or a meth pipe bitches and the only thing keeping them alive is the fact that I do not speak to her, I do not consider her a relative and I know better than to lose my CCW license(which is hard enough to get here in CA) for shooting her. But guarantee you this, if anyone ever touched my sons in any way, I will gladly pull an Ellie Nesler and blow someone's head off. Don't mess with this momma bear.

I agree, in some ways she's worse than glen. Its so heartbreaking to think this happens. To turn away from your child to go to the man who hurt her the most is just plain lunacy. You kind of wonder what Bone would be like when she grew up. A lot of times actions (sadly) have a way of repeating themselves.
