Is Robert Tubbs still around?

Is the writer of this screenplay, Robert Tubbs, still around? I met him awhile ago and he had great stories and was a very interesting person, but he was very large (300-400+?)and had his 3rd heart attack in 2004 at age 50-52?, IF you know what he's up to please post and I will look back. Also he wrote a local play about jimi hendrix, janis joplin and jerry Garcia in pergatory working through theis karma (he played Jerry Garcia).
