Budget?

How much did this thing cost, anyway? I mean it's got Bruce Campbell (!) in it, Brion James, hell, even the guy from Eraserhead, Jack Nance! I mean, they're all pretty decent and fairly well known actors. How could a crappy shoestring production afford so many good actors?
