USA DVD Now Available

Lions Gate released this on DVD last month. There are some complaints about the subtitles being for the hearing impaired. Instead of just translating the French dialogue, you see things like "woman gasps" or "children playing." There's also one song with English lyrics and Max speaks English on the phone. All that stuff is subtitled, which is a litttle annoying.

I rented the DVD. It's single layer, anamorphic (16x9), Dolby 2.0 French, with a Spanish dub. No extras. Not even the trailer.

Very annoying. I hope whomever is responsible for this got their ass fired. It really takes away from the movie when you have to read "Knocks on door", "Car horn", or "Water dripping" on top of the translation.
