I am in love with this movie! (Spoilers)

At first the movie frustrated me because he could never really catch up with Lisa, but when the story really started to unfold it was very intense. I cried and really empathized with Max he was manipulated so much and he really loved Lisa.For some reason near the end a part of me didn't want him to go meet Lisa but I most certainly didn't want her to end up the way that she did. Also the scene in the diner when he first realized Lisa was Alice was so heart breaking. The way he was holding back his tears was so sad. Vincent Cassel was so beautiful to me in this movie him and everyone else. Great movie! I'm an American and I wish more movies were like this in the U.S. it was so romantic and here I thought I hated romantic movies. This was done right and I'm adding it to one of my favorites. Does anyone know any other foreign movies that is just as good or similar to this.

American movies can have this, too, Tiffany, but they are usually older movies. Please watch "Random Harvest" (1942) and you will absolutely love it. My daughter is not normally a fan of black-and-whites, but I talked her into watching it with me and she was totally taken with it. It's one of her favorites, and she now tries to get everybody else to watch it. Another great romantic one is Johnny Belinda (1948).

As an Australian my two favourite movies of all time are both in French!
The apartment of course, and my 2nd favourite movie is french canadian: C.R.A.Z.Y.
Get it, its awsome!
