Is this a possible goof in the movie?

Bill's brother-in-law, Tobias, is seemingly killed near the end of the film when one of the demons throws him through the roof of the dollhouse in minuturized form. However, at the very end, when the rest of the family get into the truck and then watch the house burn; they never inquire about Tobias or even mention his name. They just suddenly seem to forget about him. Did anyone else notice this? Is this a goof?
