Was Red in Charlie's nightmare from first movie?

There was a creature in Charlie's nightmare from the first movie that looked a lot like Red but it was more like a dragon? It did resemble Red in a way.

Yeah, he’s supposed to be the Devil for Dogs. Makes sense he’s a cat. It’s the same character. But they made him weaker.
