Blood?
In one of the trailers for the movie during the part where the 40 Thieves are singing their theme song, and welcoming Aladdin into the gang I saw blood on his arm? Did this ever make it to the direct-to-VHS 1996 version?

The trailer that is featured on the opening of The Sword and the Stone video does show Aladdin with a large blood stain at the arm.
