The new score

I don't see it mentioned much how Aladdin and the King of Thieves has unique theme music (I'm speaking of the orchestral score rather than the songs) in comparison of the other two movies.

I love the new themes! Very adventurous, romantic and wondrous whenever appropriate. After my first viewing way back when I made sure to rewind and re-watch the scenes with the Oracle just because I thought the music was so beautiful.

The score is very reminiscent of Lawrence of Arabia, Indiana Jones, and even some of the early Star Trek movies in parts - you could argue it takes a little too much inspiration from the former especially, but hey, if you're going to crib, might as well be from the best.

The music from the original Aladdin was enjoyable, too, and I'm glad those themes returned for Return of Jafar since those two movies have greater continuity with each other, but they definitely had the right idea trying something new with King of Thieves to keep things fresh, and it works out since this is a more stand-alone chapter. Also, I personally felt the music to this one was more appropriate to the setting as well as the fantasy/adventure genre.
