I don't believe this my favorite villian of all time was suposted to be Aladdins brother? Man ... he was so evil and cool in the series, I wish this would have happend. A big what if now.

He was pretty 2 D to me, no "intersting" character traits, other than a penchant for evil plans.
He looks more emancipated (for a cartton character) than sexy looking.

Honestly, I love Mozenrath. Can't see him as Aladdin's bro though- glad that they used Aladdin's father instead.
I heard it on some fan site for Moze, can't remember which. But yeah, fanfiction writers do that sometimes too. For some reason it kinda bugs me that they write Mozenrath as Aladdin's brother, but hey, each to his own, right? (no offense intended)

I personally dont think theyre right as brothers either. I'd could even better see him as his lover than his brother. Not implying anything but thats just how impossible it is for me to see them as siblings. I mean big difference there O_O How could they possibly have the same genes? Maybe if they were half brothers, I'd better believe it.

I think it could have been a good idea if handled correctly... but for the most part, all disney direct to video sequels had sucked.
But maybe I'm biased because I actually liked the character (moreso because of his voice actor)

shareThe writers were originally going to have it be about Mozenrath being Aladdin's brother, but then they decided to stay away from the TV series. Whatever happened to him anyway? The last time he was seen, Genie sent him and his eel away on a hot air balloon. What kind of ending is that for a major villain?
As for Mozenrath being Jafar's son. This has been a theory. Even Iago calls him Jafar Jr. in an episode, though I'm sure that was a joke. Another theory is that Mozenrath was Jafar's sister's son (I forget her name). Another theory was that Mozenrath and Aladdin were supposed to be half-brothers with Jafar fathering Mozenrath after Aladdin's mother was desperate for money, but Disney scrapped the idea due to infidelity and prostitution themes.
It's even hinted at in the t.v. series Aladdin says that "You're only four minutes older than me!"
Good people are always so sure they're right.
I've heard that Mozenwrath is actually supposed to be the son of Jafar.
Both theories are interesting though.
